Ancient Rusty Retro Ray Gun by buildersstudio Ancient Rusty Retro Ray Gun by buildersstudio
Ancient Rusty Grock Annihilator Retro Ray Gun Wood Pendant Ornament Science Fiction Dangle

You can buy it at <[link]

A cache of these fabulous specimines were found centuries ago on an unnamed planet on the outskirts of a deadly nebula. Since then they have dispersed throughout the Galaxy and have been named after both the ship who's expedition found them and the gun's potency. This partiular one, while rusted from butt to barrel tip almost completely, IS STILL functional! A particle emitter with some wave overdraught, it packs a beefy punch through anything!

It's finished in a faux rust red duller finish with just bits of shiny bright silver metallic "peaking through..."

This creation is about 3" inches long (reminder there are 2 1/2 cm in an inch). Comes with metal hanging hardware / findings so you can use as jewelry or dangle it! When using as a pendant necklace just add it to any chain or cord you have. You are getting one item here; sometimes I display other items in the photos.

Made almost 100% from wood unless stated otherwise (I sometimes use tiny amounts of other things) I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain itself despite high tech themes. They maintain an often retro, sometimes even rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something (some more so than others ... I am told that surprisingly many do not even look like they are wood, but like metal or some manmade material... you can usually tell by the photos).

The Thorn Disintegrator is old school fun... point it at something you don't want to be there and pull the trigger... a moment later it is NOT! The complexity of the internal workings used in order to get that deliciously final result does make it an unusual looking weapon, but, who cares!

Except for the tiny side decoration it's ALL wood baby!

Note... I am now happy to place these on a pin back (of the closest appropriate size I have) so you may use them as a pin or hat decoration instead! This can be done with MANY (dare I say most all) of my smaller items and I am also doing earrings, keychains, and other jewelry formats, too! Way too many choices to list each one seperately. There are DIFFERENT COLORS of finishes available as well for the wood pieces themselves -- let me know your desires!

Consider the many uses for this item ... a dangle comes in handy! A popular use (and one of my own first purposes) for these are as a pendant on a necklace! Also consider it's potential as a hair clip decoration, single earring, zipper pull, hang it in a window, from a rear view mirror, next to your computer screen, AND DON'T FORGET the other of my own top 2 choices -- a Christmas Tree ornament!

It looks like it would make a great alien weapon prop for a science fiction fan film. =D
