Boy Robot Dragonfly Diorama

This childhood scene from the robotic countryside is a familiar one ... a luscious summer's day in June, green fields under blue skies and a little boy robot, in this case young Bobby Bot has found himself a golden winged dragonfly and is doing his best to catch it as it flys away!

This item is about 99% wood, has a sturdy base, Bobby himself is about 2" tall while the entire diorama scene is about 6" total at it's longest. The insect dangles freely on a bouncy wire!

I use paint and many finishes, often metallic, and make sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain despite sometimes high tech themes. They may maintain a retro, sometimes rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something.
