Retro Robot Flying A Satellite Kite in the Air Wood as Usual

On a summer's day in Roboland EVERYONE goes out to play in the sun. This guy in a rosey gold color mainly on yellow, dome hubbed wheels is flying his kite (satellite type, silver panels) ... I just wonder how much string he has? It IS an eternal cable spool... This is one of my all wood (almost 100%) table top creations. The robot comes on a base and the springy wire "kite string" hold the mainly wooden satelite above! The robot is about 3 1/2" inches (reminder there are 2 1/2 cm in an inch) or so tall with the length up to the end of the kite roughly up to a foot!
I paint and / or finish these with dark undertones and shading to highlight the details and then use layers of metallic and / or other coloring and finishes, making sure a lot of details shine through, often even the wood grain despite high tech themes. They maintain a retro, sometimes rustic look and feel to them, like an "olde worlde" toy or something.
